Refund policy

At LOVELYN, we are committed to ensuring every customer receives a garment they love. If for any reason you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return or exchange under the following conditions:

RETURN & EXCHANGE ELIGIBILITY

  • You must request a return or exchange within 7 days of receiving your order.
  • To be eligible, you must provide an unboxing video clearly showing the condition of the outer package and the item inside. This is mandatory for verification purposes.
  • The item must be unused, unworn, and in its original condition, with tags and packaging intact.

RETURN SHIPPING RESPONSIBILITIES

If the return or exchange is not due to LOVELYN’s error, the customer is responsible for:

  • Return shipping cost (approx. $68 USD)
  • The initial shipping cost covered by LOVELYN (approx. $68 USD)
  • Two-way exchange shipping cost (approx. $136 USD)
  • Any import duties or customs taxes incurred in Vietnam (if applicable)
  • Using a trusted courier (DHL, UPS, or equivalent)
  • Ensuring the package is trackable and safely packed

LOVELYN does not provide prepaid return labels.


WHEN LOVELYN WILL COVER THE COSTS

LOVELYN will bear return or exchange costs only if:

  • The wrong item was delivered
  • The product has clear manufacturing defects
  • The item was severely damaged during transit, supported by a valid unboxing video


NON-ELIGIBLE RETURNS OR EXCHANGES

We do not accept returns or exchanges under the following circumstances:

– The item shows any signs of use or wear
– The item was custom-made (tailored to specific measurements)
– The item is size XS or XL (final sale)
– No unboxing video is provided as evidence
– The item is returned without prior approval
– Returns based on subjective reasons, such as personal preferences, color perception, fabric feel, or if the item simply does not meet expectations without objective fault

We strive to provide accurate photos and descriptions for every item. Disputes or return requests based solely on subjective opinions — such as “not as imagined,” “color appears different in person,” or “fabric does not feel as expected” — will not be accepted. These are not considered valid grounds for return or refund.

Due to the handcrafted nature of our designs, slight variations in beading, embellishment placement, or glitter line distribution may occur — especially across different sizes. These adjustments are essential for maintaining proper balance and proportion in each size, and do not affect the overall design or quality of the dress. Therefore, such differences are not classified as defects and are not eligible for return or refund.

 

FINAL EVALUATION

All return and exchange requests are subject to final inspection and approval by LOVELYN’s quality control team.
We reserve the right to decline any return or exchange that does not meet the above conditions.


RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

Once your return request is approved, please ship the item to the following address and send us a clear photo of the shipping label or tracking receipt after dispatch:

REFUSED DELIVERIES & UNCLAIMED PACKAGES

Please ensure you or an authorized person is available to receive your package at the provided shipping address. We strongly advise against refusing delivery, as international return shipping costs and customs penalties are exceptionally high.

If a package is refused upon delivery, left unclaimed at the local courier facility, or returned to us due to an incorrect/incomplete shipping address provided by the customer, the following terms will apply:

• Customer Responsibility: The customer will be held fully responsible for all associated return costs. This includes:

• The initial shipping cost covered by LOVELYN (approx. $68 USD).

• The return shipping fee charged by the courier to send the package back to Vietnam.

• Any import duties, customs taxes, or penalty fees incurred upon re-entry into Vietnam.

• Refund Deduction: All the charges mentioned above will be automatically deducted from your total refund amount once (and if) the package is successfully returned to our facility.

• Package Abandonment: If the accumulated return costs exceed the value of the order, or if the courier is forced to abandon/destroy the package due to delivery refusal or unpaid local customs fees by the receiver, no refund will be issued under any circumstances.

 

REFUND POLICY

  • Refunds will be issued within 3 business days after the returned item is received and approved.
  • Items must pass quality inspection to qualify for a refund.
  • Refunds will be processed via the original payment method (PayPal only).
  • Any return shipping fees, customs charges, or import duties will be deducted from the total refund amount.
